On July 15, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar praised the Republic of the Marshall Islands for successfully hosting the 10th Micronesian Games. He highlighted India`s long-standing friendship with the Marshall Islands, strengthened through cooperation in the Forum of India Pacific Islands. The signing of the MoU will support four community development projects, such as a sports center, airport terminal, and community centers. These initiatives aim to improve infrastructure in the Marshall Islands, benefitting its people. The minister expressed optimism that these projects will enhance bilateral relations and contribute to the islands` socio-economic development.

President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan who is on a State visit to India on October 09 met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan held a bilateral meeting and attended the MoU exchange program at Hyderabad House in Delhi. MoUs exchanged between countries for Digital solutions, Shipping, Sports, etc. PM Modi addressed the delegations and discussed global and regional issues, Both leaders emphasised the topic of ‘Terrorism’ while PM Modi said ‘Terrorism is a threat to humanity’. President Hassan was earlier today accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan and paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
