 A loud explosion happened in the green zone of Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Tuesday. The explosion took place near the US Embassy, according to reports. According to sources, a suicide bomber attacked foreign troops convoy serving with NATO in Kabul.

A car bomb exploded near the entrance to Kabul airport and casualties are feared, officials said on Monday (August 10) days after series of suicide attacks in the Afghan capital killed dozens and wounded hundreds.

A heavy explosion rocked central Kabul city with preliminary reports suggesting the blast has taken place in the second police district of the city on Tuesday morning. A thick plume of black smoke was seen rising from the vicinity of the sprawling US embassy in the Afghan.
