The Delhi Airport has received a bomb threat on a Varanasi-bound IndiGo flight on May 28. A tissue paper, with the word ‘bomb’ written on it, was found in the Indigo flight 6E2211 from lavatory at the airport. Soon after the authorities received info, the aircraft has been moved to an isolation bay for investigation. As per the Airport Official, the Aviation security and a bomb disposal team rushed to the spot to tackle any possible danger. All the passenger onboarding the IndiGo flight were evacuated through the emergency door. According to Delhi Fire Service, all passengers are safe and flight is being inspected. Post the completion of all security checks, the bomb threat turned out to be a hoax, informed a senior CISF official. Watch video for more.
