India Couture Week 2024 kicked off with a dazzling display of fashion and flair as Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, renowned stalwarts of Indian couture, unveiled their latest collection in Delhi. Adding to the glamour were celebrity showstoppers Taha Shah Badussha from ‘Heeramandi’ fame and actress Wamiqa Gabbi. Abu Sandeep unveiled `Disco Mujra` with a Haveli-inspired backdrop. The evening was a celebration of heritage and modernity, seamlessly blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style. `Asal Bride` celebrates heritage with modern elegance, while `The Regal Groom of Mard` features maximal dressing for men with intricate embroideries and dramatic borders.
A National Movement against Cyber Crime and the launch of a helpline number were held at Pillai College. Heermandi actor Taha Shah Badussha graced the event, offering guidance to the young generation on choosing the right path and not going astray in love. He urged them to protect themselves and refrain from judging others who may be affected by cyber crimes. Taha shared that he, too, has experienced difficult times and understands that young people often make wrong decisions. He revealed that some of his friends have been victims of sextortion. He advised everyone to remember that they have a life ahead of them and that their actions have consequences, encouraging them to make wise decisions.
