Brief: Indian singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan finally returned to India after winning the Grammy with Indian tabla player and composer Zakir Hussain. Shankar interacted with the media when he was spotted at the airport and stated that Zakir Hussain is the final word in rhythm for him. He also mentioned that there is nobody like him and nobody can be. Shankar takes Zakir as his Guru, his mentor. Bengaluru-based two-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej in an interview with Mid-day Online spoke about working on his latest album `Divine Tides` with his childhood idol Stewart Copeland, legendary drummer of English rock band, The Police. Kej also talks about how he makes music to create awareness about the environment and uses the medium to bring about change.
