Ace lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar turned 79 on January 17. Actor Anil Kapoor hosted a birthday bash for the veteran lyricist at his Mumbai home. The party was attended by Madhuri Dixit, Sonu Nigam, Rajkumar Hirani, Sonam Kapoor and many more. Actress Divya Dutta also attended the party and carried a simple and elegant look in a paste netted saree. Javed Akhtar even stepped out to pose for the paparazzi. He was accompanied by his wife Shabana Azmi, host Anil Kapoor and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani among others. Anupam Kher, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja also attended the party. Former Footballer David Beckham has been in India for the past few days on official business with UNICEF. While on this trip, David Beckham made a stop in Mumbai to watch the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match between India and New Zealand held on November 15.
