A 47-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly trying to kill his 26-year-old son in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/virar-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Virar</a> over a domestic issue.
According to the police official, the accused, Bharat Bansode, allegedly stabbed his son last week on July 28.
The incident happened following a quarrel between the father and son duo over the victim`s alcohol addiction and his refusal to take up a job.
"A case of attempt to <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-crime-news/article/mumbai-crime-senior-doctor-in-santacruz-murdered-for-20-gm-gold-23285404" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">murder</a> was registered after a complaint was lodged by another son of Bansode," a crime branch official said.
