Raigad landslide: Maha authorities to collect data on landslide-prone villages

After the Irshalwadi tragedy, the Raigad district authorities decided to conduct a survey in order to gather information about the people living in tribal hamlets and villages prone to landslides and other natural calamities

After the Irshalwadi tragedy, the Raigad district authorities decided to conduct a survey in order to gather information about the people living in tribal hamlets and villages prone to landslides and other natural calamities.
The authorities plan to electronically store the information regarding the villagers of such areas, including their cattle, belongings, bank accounts etc, in a card that will be kept with the Revenue authorities and the families concerned.
