Mumbai: Kandivali youth kidnaps, molests a minor at his home; arrested

A 20-year-old allegedly kidnapped and molested a minor at his home in Mumbai`s Kandivali suburb after the girl blocked the accused on social media.

A 20-year-old allegedly kidnapped and molested a minor at his home in Mumbai`s Kandivali suburb after the girl blocked the accused on social media. Police sources said that the 14-year-old had blocked the accused on the photosharing site Instagram.
The sources said that the girl, a resident of Kandivali East, received a friend request from the man nearly a month ago. The two chatted for a little while; however, upon noticing his profile picture featuring alcohol, she terminated all communications by blocking him.
