Parents, residents stage protest outside Kandivali school after peon raped minor

The parents of the minor are demanding action against Kandivali school authorities for negligence for not reporting the sexual assault.

A 40-year-old Kandivali-based preschool peon was arrested by Samta Nagar Police for allegedly sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl. The parents of the minor are demanding action against the school authorities for negligence as they brushed the incident under the carpet and informed neither the parents nor reported it to the cops.
The 4-year-old girl informed her parents about the incident on Friday evening saying that the `Kala` (dusky) uncle from school had touched her private part in the school`s washroom. The infuriated parents demanded the cancellation of the preschool`s license pulling the shutter down permanently.
