As the Marathi film Well Done Baby has begun streaming, its director Priyanka Tanwar is all elated, excited and confident about her "baby" project. It marks Tanwar`s directorial debut. The film, starring Pushkar Jog, Amruta Khanvilkar and Vandana Gupte, showcases the journey of a young modern-day couple who are struggling to find a purpose in their marriage, till destiny decides to give them one -- in the form of a baby.
Speaking about her experience of directing her first film, Priyanka Tanwar says, “I am really excited about this film as it marks my debut as a director. Aamir Khan is my mentor and I try to do my work with perfection, just like him. While working as an assistant director with Aamir Khan Productions, I have learned how pre-production and research are very important for directing a film. So, before I started working on Well Done Baby, I spent a lot of time doing my homework and research before the film went on the floor. I am grateful to work with actors like Pushkar Jog, Amruta and Vandana ji and my writer Marmabandha Gavhane, who really supported and motivated me on my first project.”
