Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who is three films old has managed to court controversy for each of his films. His latest release, `Animal` starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead was one of the most controversial films of 2023. The filmmaker in his recent interviews has been reacting to his naysayers and also expressing his interest in collaborating with other stars from the films industry. In several interviews, Vanga has expressed interest in directing superstar Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interview she spoke bout his first meeting with the `Pathaan` star.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed his wish to work with King Khan. "I want to work with Shah Rukh sir. Definitely. Chance mil gaya toh," he said. Last year, the filmmaker met Shah Rukh Khan in person for the first time, and the video of the same had gone viral. When he was asked about what he told the superstar during their meet, he shared, “It was great seeing you sir. Pehli baar dekh raha hu. Parde pe dekha tha. Live pehli baar dekh raha hu. Yehi bolunga na? Yehi bola tha (“It was great seeing you sir. I am seeing [you] for the first time. I had seen [you] on the screen. I am seeing [you] live for the first time. This is what I will say, no? This is what [I] said."
