Maharashtra boys (U-17) clinched the waterpolo silver medal in the junior and sub-junior National Aquatics Championship in Bangalore recently.

Maharashtra lost to Bengal 6-11 in the boys final while Kerala took home the bronze. In the girls event, Kerala won gold while Karnataka and the Tanvi Muley-led Maharashtra team secured the silver and bronze respectively.
