Former US Open champion Andy Murray dispatched Frenchman Corentin Moutet 6-2, 7-5, 6-3 to reach the second round at Flushing Meadows. With this win, he registered 200th major win on Tuesday.
Murray dealt with Moutet`s flashy shotmaking throughout the two hours and 58 minutes-long match, having consistently countered the Frenchman`s touch with depth. Additionally, the 36-year-old frequently advanced, earning 69 per cent (48/70) of the net points.
