Thakur Junior College (Kandivli) edged out arch-rivals Rizvi College (Bandra) 6-5 via tie-breaker in the quarter-finals of the District Sports Office (DSO) suburban boys' U-17 Subroto Cup at St Francis D'Assisi ground, Borivli yesterday. Meanwhile, the Kandivli side used three 'keepers in the match — Kashyab Joshi, who stood between the posts in regulation time; Harsh Rall, who came on the penalty shoot-out; and Suraj Yadav, who came on when the score was 3-3 in the tie-breaker.
