As expected, Pesi Shroff-trained King`s Ransom (PS Chouhan up), did turn the tables on Dyf, but not before causing severe anxiety to his followers as Akshay Kumar astride Dyf gave his all for one final push in the last 100m of the 2,800m trip. King`s Ransom, low on energy by this time, started shortening her strides, with Dyf gaining on her with every stride. Both of them passed the winning post "locked together", the photo finish camera, thankfully for the followers of King`s Ransom, ruled in her favour. With King`s Ransom, Shroff completed a hat-trick on the Sunday card, having earlier won two races on the trot.
