More than 5,000 athletes from all over the country is set to participate in the Olympic, non-Olympic as well as indigenous games at the Khelo India Youth Games 2024

The Khelo India Youth Games 2024 is scheduled to take place in Tamil Nadu from January 19 to 31. This will be the sixth edition of the premier event under Indian government`s Khelo India initiative, aiming to promote sports at the grassroots levels.
More than 5,000 athletes from all over the country is set to participate in the Olympic, non-Olympic as well as indigenous games at the Khelo India Youth Games 2024. Silambam, a form of Indian martial arts, was included in the KIYG programme the upcoming edition as a demo sport.
