Singer Jennifer Lopez and former baseball star Alex Rodriguez reportedly spoke at length about their future a week before announcing their split. 

According to a report in People magazine, the couple’s recent split was amicable. “They spent time together in the Dominican Republic last week and decided that it’s best to go separate ways. The split is very amicable,” a source said.
