Only Japan are fractionally ahead.&nbsp;
India started Day Three by drubbing Pakistan 20-0 and carried the momentum by beating the strong Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong China handsomely (15.26 VPs in each match).

The Indian mixed bridge team needed a productive Day Three. They began in a sedate manner against Pakistan, but beat Thailand by a good margin to get 16.72 VPs. At the halfway stage, the mixed team are joint fifth with Singapore. China are just 0.5 VPs ahead.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, the Indian women&rsquo;s team are placed seventh and it&rsquo;s an uphill task for them from here on.
