India were off to a confident start at the Asian Boxing Championships with Commonwealth Games bronze-winner Mohammed Hussamuddin (56kg) beating Kazakhstan`s Makhmud Sabyrkhan in his opening bout to enter the quarterfinals, here on Monday.
