When veteran Sushil Kumar demanded TV set for wrestling updates in Tihar Jail

Wrestler Sushil Kumar, the prime suspect in the murder case and his associate Ajay Bakkarwala were arrested by a team of Special Cell, Delhi Police on May 23 in the Mundka area of the national capital and are now under judicial custody

Days after demanding a high protein diet, Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar, prime accused in the Sagar Dhankar murder case, has asked for a television set to get updates on wrestling, said Tihar Jail officials.
Sushil, along with others, is accused of allegedly assaulting former junior national wrestling champion Dhankar, a resident of Haryana`s Rohtak, and his friends in the parking lot of the city`s Chhatrasal stadium, on May 4 over an alleged property dispute. He has been in judicial custody since June 2, 2021.
