The Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) stewards, in a meeting held at Mahalaxmi racecourse on Monday, decided to cancel the remainder of the Mumbai racing season 2020-21. 

“In view of the communication issued by the government of Maharashtra dated April 4, the RWITC is unable to continue with racing, and thus the remainder of the Mumbai Meeting 2020-21 stands cancelled,” the race club said in a press release.
