Jeremy Manzorro scored off two back-to-back freekicks as Jamshedpur FC continued their terrific run since the arrival of head coach Khalid Jamil as the Red Miners swept Punjab FC 4-0 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2033-24 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Thursday.
Manzorro scored at the fag-end of the match in the 83rd and 86th minutes after Daniel Chima Chukwu had given Jamshedpur FC the lead in the 11th minute and Mohammed Sanan doubled it in the 63rd minute. It was the first defeat for the Staikos Vergetis-coached Punjab FC side since the league resumed late last month, having notched two consecutive wins since then.
