Beckham said that while he now likes a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon Sassicaia—red wine made in Italy—his parents used to enjoy much cheaper drinks

England football great David Beckham loves to eat jellied eels. Speaking on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star admitted that having grown up in the East end of London, he still likes to consume the traditional dish on a regular basis.
“Not many people I know love the jellied eels. I like them in the gelatine. They come cut up in slices and they come in the plastic pot and I just pour vinegar and pepper on it. I have them at least once a week now,” said Beckham, 46.
