S Sreesanth`s name cropped up in the famous Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scandal in 2013, along with two other players from his franchise, Rajasthan Royals -- Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan. Sreesanth received a life ban and was arrested after he was guilty of underperforming in return for money from bookies but was released on bail in a month. Kerela High Court recently lifted the life ban on Sreesanth in August 2017, but BCCI challenged it. He took to Twitter to vent his anger at the Indian cricket board in a series of tweets

The undisputed king of controversies, the temperamental pacer was involved in a mid-air fracas in 2017. A co-passenger on a Bangalore-Delhi flight alleged that the cricketer had indulged in boorish behaviour` on board the aircraft. The co-passenger, T R Ravichandran alleged that Sreesanth got into a childish argument` with flight attendants when he was asked not to sit near the emergency exit. Sreesanth denied the charges
