Hosts England are hoping that opener Jason Roy will be available for their crucial World Cup clash against India on Sunday as he is making "good progress" from his hamstring injury.

Roy had suffered a hamstring tear during the match against the West Indies and was forced to miss the games against Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Australia.
