Yesterday was a significant day in Indian cricket history. Team India won a Test series on Sri Lankan soil for the first time since Mohd Azharuddin's men triumphed in 1993-94. The win also marked India's first overseas Test series triumph in 50 months — the last being in West Indies during the 2010-11 season.
