The 2003 and 2007 World Cup-winning Aussie captain felt Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sarfaraz and Prithvi Shaw are batters who could easily adjust quickly to the challenges of Test cricket

Ricky Ponting
Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting, who was seen guiding the fortunes of Delhi Capitals in IPL-16, expressed disappointment at Sarfaraz Khan not being picked for higher honours.
While talking about young Indian talent, Ponting said in a recent episode of The ICC Review: “The one I do feel a little bit sorry for is Sarfaraz Khan. The fact that he hasn’t got a look in a Test squad just yet, considering he averages in the high 80s I think in first-class cricket, which is absolutely unheard of, but they keep picking these other guys ahead of him.”
