Kane Williamson will be leading the Black Caps ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. With this, it will be his sixth appearance in the shortest format`s global showpiece. New Zealand has also picked Rachin Ravindra alongside fast bowler Matt Henry who are yet to previously appear at a T20 World Cup

New Zealand on Monday announced their squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 which is held in the USA and the West Indies. With this, the Black Caps became the first team to announce their squad for the global showpiece.
The Kiwis made their squad announcement in a very unique way. On Monday, the New Zealand cricket team`s official X handle published a post in which two children named Matilda and Angus made the announcement of Kiwi`s 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup 2024.
