Pakistan needed Ireland to beat the USA heading into their final game of the group stage against the Irish. The "Green Shirts" elimination from the T20 World Cup 2024 was confirmed after the match between the USA and Ireland was washed out due to rain.
Following the early exit from the T20 World Cup 2024, the player`s central contracts and salaries are likely to be reduced by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
