England`s spinner Adil Rashid feels that sensible use of variations was the reason behind his four-wicket haul against Oman after having a roller coaster start to the T20 World Cup 2024. The spinner`s four-wicket haul helped England to restrict Oman to just 47 runs, they later chased the target in just 3.1 overs to stay in contention for the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup 2024.
"It`s always nice to get wickets three-four whether it`s against Oman or Australia or India. But I felt okay (today). I just needed to get a few wickets, spin the ball, googlies, few leggies, whatever it is, mix it up well," Rashid said in the post-match press conference after England`s eight-wicket victory.
