India cricketer and Delhi Capitals opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan received his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Thursday. DC`s Dhawan also urged his fans and followers to get vaccinated in order to `defeat` the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Shikhar Dhawan, who is an active cricketer on social media, also went on to share a photo of him getting the Covid-19 vaccine on his Twitter handle. In his post, Dhawan thanked the `frontline warriors` who have helped the nation during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Dhawan wrote, "Vaccinated ✅ Can’t thank all our frontline warriors enough for their sacrifices and dedication. Please do not hesitate and get yourself vaccinated as soon as possible.
