Despite a dominating start in the Powerplay (75-1), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) managed just 150-6 in the allotted 20 overs against Rajasthan Royals at the Brabourne Stadium on Friday.
One-drop batsman Moeen Ali (93 off 57 balls, 13x4, 3x6) was in top gear initially, but failed to capitalise on it. At the time of going to press, RR were 52-1 in six overs. CSK skipper MS Dhoni prefers to chase targets. However, he opted to bat with an intention to give his batsmen time and let them score without target-pressure.
