MCA has divided 137 club teams into four groups for the Kanga knockouts. It is learnt that some of MCA’s Apex Council members also endorse Kale’s concerns and that the association will take a decision on this in the next couple of days.

The Mumbai Cricket Association’s (MCA) vice-president Amol Kale has requested the association’s president Dr Vijay Patil to postpone all upcoming tournaments, including the Dr HD Kanga knockouts, in light of the increasing COVID-19 cases in the city. The Kanga knockout tournament is scheduled to start on April 4.
“I have requested the postponement of all tournaments for the time being,” Kale told mid-day on Monday.
