Head`s century which came in 39 balls helped SRH put 287 for three against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 30th IPL 2024. While chasing the target, RCB wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik played an exceptional knock. The veteran scored 83 runs in just 35 balls but fell short to take the team home. SRH won the IPL 2024 against RCB by 25 runs

Sunrisers Hyderabad have taken T20 batting to the next level by displaying power-hitting in the IPL 2024. Following their record-setting 287 runs, Travis Head said that attacking powerplay was their central focus. Head`s century which came in 39 balls helped SRH put 287 for three against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 30th IPL 2024.
It was the second time Head completed his half-century in the first six overs of the IPL 2024 match. "We`ve definitely got a lot of power through our top and middle-order and I think we`ve sort of got to tailor the way we want to play around that power that we`ve got, especially in power play", said Head in the post-match press conference.
