Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant blamed his batters` failure to score freely in the middle overs which led them to a below-par target, eventually lost by six wickets against Lucknow Super Giants in an IPL 2022 match at the DY Patil Stadium, here on Thursday.
Opener Prithvi Shaw blasted a 34-ball 61 but Delhi lost their way after he was out and despite fine rearguard efforts by skipper Rishabh Pant (39 not out off 36) and Sarfaraz Khan (36 not out off 28), could manage to post a modest total of 149/3 in 20 overs.
