Rajasthan Royals (RR) almost lost their IPL encounter game to Punjab Kings on Tuesday in Dubai before India U-19 pacer Kartik Tyagi (2-29) worked his magic in the final over of the match. Tyagi defended just four runs in the last over as Punjab fell two short in the end.
RR’s total of 185 seemed easy with Punjab skipper KL Rahul (49) and Mayank Agarwal’s (67) 120-run opening stand. However, Rahul was dropped thrice in the Powerplay, first by Evin Lewis, then Riyan Parag and finally by Chetan Sakariya when he was playing on two, 29 and 31 respectively.
