Admiration for the current Indian team has spread far and wide, well across continents. In South Africa, the Rainbow Nation’s first coloured Test cricketer, Omar Henry told mid-day that he knew India would bounce back after the 36 all out humiliation in the opening Test at Adelaide.
“I watched every ball of this series on television. I was not too concerned about India’s chances even after they were bowled out for 36. I knew this bunch had it in them to bounce back. I knew that not being familiar with the pink ball had a role to play in their defeat,” Henry said on Saturday from Strand in the Western Cape.
