After beating three former champions in the tournament, Afghanistan now want to impress against Australia

Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi
Captain Hashmatullah Shahidi’s body language showcased the Afghanistan team’s confidence level as he entered the Wankhede Stadium’s conference hall on the eve of their clash with former champions Australia on Monday.
He underlined how fearless his nation as well as his team were. They have outclassed three former champions — England, Pakistan and Sri Lanka — in this tournament.
“We are a brave nation and we’ve shown that through cricket also. In such a short time, we have achieved a lot as compared to other countries. And right now, we know the whole world is talking about our team’s performance. As a team also, we are happy about that. Tomorrow [Tuesday] is one of the important games for us. We are here to fight and we will try our best,” Shahidi said during the pre-match press conference on Monday.
