Police Gymkhana pacer Amol Tanpure
Pacer Amol Tanpure (6.1-1-13-6), who helped Police Gymkhana beat former champions Parsee Gymkhana in the Dr HD Kanga Cricket League Division `A` game at the Parsee Gym on Sunday, has revealed that he was a national-level javelin thrower.
Before Tanpure, 28, joined the police force in 2015, he had clinched nine medals for the State team.
