Bravish was lucky to get a double hundred. At around 150, the umpire raised his finger after he was caught by Anish Chaudhery at cover off pacer Yash Panchal (1-85). But the Young Comrade player displayed his sportsmanship and told the umpire that it was not a clean catch.

DYPSA’s Bravish Shetty after his unbeaten 252 on Saturday
It was a run fest at the DY Patil Sports Academy [DYPSA] ground in Navi Mumbai as 944 runs were scored in just 87.4 overs on Saturday. Thanks to DYPSA opener Bravish Shetty’s unbeaten 252, the hosts thrashed Young Comrade CC by 194 runs in the Madhav Mantri Centenary One-Day League.
Put in to bat, DYPSA scored a mammoth 569-3 in 43 overs. Bravish’s 134-ball knock was laced with 21 sixes and 16 fours. The right-hander put on 120 in an opening stand with Srujan Athawale (58, 9x4). Shubham Ranjane and Hardik Tamore too contributed, scoring 73 and 65 respectively. The hosts also accumulated 88 runs for two overs short as well as 30 extras.
