The BCCI is already thinking of ways to prepare the Indian team for next year’s T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. Despite being tournament favourites, Virat Kohli’s men failed to qualify for the knockouts at the recent T20 World Cup jointly hosted by UAE and Oman.
So, in order to get accustomed to bigger grounds which they will encounter in Australia, the Indian cricket board is planning to extend the boundary ropes at the next IPL. It is learnt that the BCCI will soon be talking to all the franchises about this possibility.
