After the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the "Test Cricket Incentive Scheme" for the senior men`s team, President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah said that the initiative is undertaken to reward players` efforts, encouraging Test Cricket as the "pinacle of the sport."
"BCCI is pleased to announce the initiation of the `Test Cricket Incentive Scheme` for Senior Men, a step aimed at providing financial growth and stability to our esteemed athletes," the cricket board said in a release.
