India`s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane will lead Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, beginning on November 4 in Guwahati.
Rahane, 33, was part of the Delhi Capitals (DC) squad in IPL-14, but got an opportunity in just two matches. DC’s opener Prithvi Shaw, 21, who amassed 479 runs from 15 games, will be Rahane’s deputy.
