India`s middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane and left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja missed the Mumbai Test against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium due to injuries. 

However, both looked eager to get back to supreme fitness prior to the South Africa tour.
