3rd ODI: Rain pain as India eves lose to South Africa to hand 2-1 lead in series

Lizelle Lee’s super knock and a spell of sharp showers put paid to India’s hopes of taking the lead in the five-match ODI series when they lost the third game by six runs by D/L method much to the disappointment of a handful of spectators at the Atal Bihari Stadium. The rain came at a time when the match was tightly poised, with South Africa needing a further 26 from 21 balls. Despite Lee batting on 132, the match could have gone either way.
