India opener Rohit Sharma got off to a flying start as he scored a vital century to take the hosts to a total of 189 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at tea on day one of the second Test match between India and England in Chennai today. At the Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane were unbeaten at the crease.
Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 132 runs off 178 balls including 16 fours and 2 sixes. Meanwhile, Ajinkya Rahane played ain important role with his unbeaten 36 runs of 80 deliveries which included 5 boundaries.
