Retired Maj. David Grusch, a former Air Force intelligence officer, testified before a House Oversight subcommittee, revealing that the U.S. government is concealing a long-standing program focused on retrieving and reverse engineering unidentified flying objects (UFOs). This testimony sparked Congress` interest in the world of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), the official term used by the U.S. government instead of UFOs.
The Pentagon, however, has denied Grusch`s claims, the Associated Press reported.
