US president Joe Biden backs Israeli raid on al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza

US President Joe Biden has said that it is "not realistic" to expect Israel to halt its military operations in Gaza. While reiterating the claim of a Hamas base at the al-Shifa Hospital, the US president did not offer any concrete proof to substantiate the assertion

US President Joe Biden has said that it is "not realistic" to expect Israel to halt its military operations in Gaza. While reiterating the claim of a Hamas base at the al-Shifa Hospital, the US president did not offer any concrete proof to substantiate the assertion, Al Jazeera reported on Thursday.
The United Nations Security Council passed a resolution calling for extended humanitarian pauses in Gaza, with the United States, United Kingdom, and Russia abstaining from the vote. However, the calls for an immediate ceasefire went unanswered.
