In Belarus, Putin is to hold talks with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Belarus on Thursday for a two-day visit as part of international tours to kick off his fifth term in office, reported news agency AP. This visit highlights solid ties with a neighbouring ally that has been crucial to Russia`s war effort in Ukraine. Putin is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan on Sunday. He visited China earlier this month. The Russian president hosted Bahrain`s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at Kremlin earlier on Thursday.
